This is a personal exercise featuring an experimental layout and typography for a summary booklet of Raging Bull - a Martin Scorsese classic and one of my favourite films. Raging Bull is an autobiography of the mental and emotional struggles of Jake LaMotta, a former middleweight champion boxer from 1949 and 1951. 

The use of grids and organized layouts were disregarded in favor of an experimental typographical approach heavily inspired by David Carson's 'Ray Gun' Magazine. Stills from the movie were edited and used to complement the overall grungy, distressed visual styling - chosen to evoke the turbulence and chaos of LaMotta's personal and professional life as depicted in the film.
